Tonight we saw Labour refuse to work with other politicians in order to do what is best for the town

Tonight we saw Labour refuse to work with other politicians in order to do what is best for the town. We also saw the leadership of their party move from Paddy Brown to Carl Richardson, with Dave Hunter not being present. Policy chair positions were suggested and flatly refused by the new leader of Labour and we have to say that we now have no option but to press ahead in the best interests of the town, through our coalition with the Independent Union and VAPP. Shane Moore, leader of our coalition group was polite and expressed early on his wishes to work with Labour. We cannot quite believe the negative response presented. But press on we must and with the help of residents guiding and keeping us accountable, we will see our town improve and grow for the benefit of everyone.
