This is Labour Councillor Stephen Thomas. Mr Thomas makes a good living working with Christopher AkersBelcher at Healthwatch Hartlepool. He is a labour party member and goes on union marches to try to protect the NHS and such like. However, last week he voted to give himself a 31 increase in his councillors allowance. The nurses under the NHS he says he supports will be lucky so see a 1 increase in their pay and many of them use food banks to live on. Yet Cllr Thomas felt he himself deserved a 31 hike in the amount he recieves. Stephen Thomas is up for reelection in the De Bruce ward in May 2018, assuming he has to courage to stand. Vote him out. Hartlepool Labour group, for the FEW, not the MANY.
