This is Labour Councillor Carl Richardson, 2 years ago Carl said councillors should stick to a previous 2013 resolution that they should only receive an increase in their basic allowance in line with any pay increase received by council employees from the Government, as and when that occurred. Then just last week he voted himself a 31 pay increase. Cllr Richardson is up for reelection in the Victoria Ward in May 2018. Many believe he is a hypocite. His words and actions above certainly appear to suggest that. Vote him out.
