This is Labour Councillor Allan Barclay. He is one of the three Labour councillors elected to represent Manor House ward in Hartlepool. His ward contains some of the highest levels of unemployment and social deprivation in England. Despite this Councillor Barclay recently voted himself a 31 increase in his councillors allowance. This was an overnight rise of around 1,800. He does not need to do anymore work for this money than the day before he voted for himself to receive it. He should be ashamed. Vote this man out at the first opportunity to do so.
