This is Labour Councillor Alan Clarke (centre) pictured at the foodbank. Back in 2015 Labours Alan Clark said he was among those who believed accepting a rise in his council allowances of 2.2 showed he stood shoulder to shoulder with my workers. Yet just last week he voted to accept a 31 increase to his own basic allowance while council workers have had to settle for a 1 increase. Not exactly standing shoulder to shoulder with those workers, is it Alan? Safe to say he himself wont be needing a foodbank anytime soon. Councillor Clark is up for reelection in the Fens and Rossmere ward in May 2018. Vote him out.
