David Riddle speaking about the election. These are his personal views and necessarily a reflection

David Riddle speaking about the election. These are his personal views and necessarily a reflection of anyone else in the parties beliefs. So heres the problem as I see it. I like Jeremy Corbyn, I like many of his policies. I work in education. Public sector. I believe in the notion of the many and not the few . . . but . . . And its a big but. Labour in Hartlepool has become a toxic brand under the current local council. Weve seen scandal after scandal and their leadership treat the public with utter contempt. If you look at the names of the people who have signed Mike Hills nomination forms, youll find the same old local names. The AkersBelchers, Kevin Cranney and Marjorie seaton parking charges James are all supporting Mike Hill, theyre all hoping the Labour car crash in Hartlepool is allowed to continue. I FULLY understand the difference between a local and a national election by the way. But I also understand the many ways in which the two are intrinsically linked. I will NOT be voting Labour until the regional or national Labour group sort out the mess thats been allowed to develop within Hartlepool Borough Council.
