Unfortunately despite the requests of both Leisa Smith Putting Seaton First and myself, despite ex Councillor Paul Thompson, despite Sue Little, and numerous other Seaton and other Hartlepool residents. The Neighbourhood Services Committee unanimously agreed to make permanent the Seaton Car Parking charges. Despite the report providing little, if any information except financial, despite the acceptance from chair Dave Hunter (also Seaton resident) that the original purpose of Road Safety was flawed. Despite a residents request for information on number of complaints and PCNs. The group decided they had enough information to condemn the small businesses of Seaton to future years of uncertainty. I went into the meeting, believing that a resident of Seaton who from my understanding once disagreed with the measures would actually stand up for the residents of Seaton. Unfortunately his true colours were once again shown, and my belief in his 31 mishap has infact been found to be a total farce.
