Living in Seaton, our community is important to me and my family. I have been honoured by the support I have received from residents, including Councillor Paul Thompson and I want to follow his outstanding example as an independent, honest and strongminded advocate for residents. You deserve nothing less. Your issues are my issues. Whether it is the Wind Turbines, Longscar Hall, parking charges or landfill sites, they all affect me and my family, as they do you and yours. I will fight for us and to see those issues resolved. I want residents opinions to be at the forefront of all council decision making and push for regeneration funds to be spent on Seaton, not councillors egos. Seaton Ward has, for too long, been ignored. Seen as a dumping ground for poisonous waste, an income stream for a greedy council and a place that can be ignored, except when they want your vote. This must change and one more Labour vote on the council is no change at all! I want Seaton to be a safe, pleasant and vibrant place in which to live, work and bring up children, not a publicity stunt to get your votes.
