DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MASTERPLAN LAUNCH PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENTS On 18th October, I will be launching a draft masterplan for the South Tees Development Corporation (STDC). This is the first Mayoral Development Corporation to be set up outside of Greater London with significant powers to regenerate the South Tees site in Redcar. Once fully developed, the vision would see 20,000 jobs created and add an additional 1 billion per annum to the local economy. Chaired by me, this is a huge opportunity for us locally. To accompany the launch, weve set up public consultation events across the Tees Valley to showcase the masterplan and invite comment from local residents and businesses 20th October, 11am6pm Redcar Cleveland Civic Learning Centre 1st November, 11am6pm Guisborough Library 8th November, 11am6pm Middlesbrough Central Library 15th November, 11am6pm Hartlepool National Museum of the Royal Navy 22nd November, 11am6pm Darlington Dolphin Centre 29th November, 11am6pm Stockton Central Library
