Members of the Hartlepool Community Safety Team were today alerted to some suspicious activity in the Burn Valley Ward which was believed to be drug related. This led to the arrest of a 41 year old female and a 51 year old male, both of whom have now been charged with possession of Class A drugs. A quantity of suspected heroin was recovered. Sergeant Adrian DACK from the Hartlepool Community Safety Team said Members of the community alerted us to the activity of these two individuals which has led to more class A drugs being taken off the streets, both are due in court in the next couple of weeks as a result. We continue to listen and respond to the concerns of our community and encourage them to keep doing so as they are an integral part of what we do.
