Hartlepool Borough Council has been putting together a series of suggested changes for the Hartlepool area for a number of years now. Recently these changes were published, and an opportunity for the general public to have their say and views on the plans was given.

Although this opportunity to provide feedback has now passed, there is still time to view and look at the details of the Local Plan to better understand how Hartlepool will look and operate in the future.

A link to the Plan is available below as a PDF. It is a long document, some 302 pages in total, but provides details and reasons behind the proposal and why the Council believes it is important for the town long term.
