Car boot sales return to Summerhill POPULAR car boot sales are returning to Hartlepool this weekend (Saturday 8 April) offering local people the opportunity to sell any unwanted items. Summerhill, the 100-acre country park off Catcote Road, will play host to the regular car boot sales which will be held from 10am to 12:30pm. Organised by Hartlepool Borough Council, sales will be held on the second and last Saturday of every month until September. There will be a charge of £8 for sellers in cars and £12 for vans, while admission for buyers is 20p.
