Did you enjoy the Chinese New Year Celebration staged at the Grand Hotel in February? We certainly enjoyed putting it together, and all of the feedback we had said it was our best event ever!

Why not join the Hartlepool Chinese Association and help us make future events even better! We are looking for new Board Members, and Volunteers, with creative ideas and fresh thinking to further strengthen the brilliant work we have done in Hartlepool since 2010.

What the Chinese Association Offers

Chinese New Year Celebration - Our signature event. Held every year in February. Always popular, getting bigger every year, and an incredible celebration of the diverse Chinese culture.

But we also do/have:

• Lion Dances
• Wonderful Food
• Dancing
• Singing
• Acupressure Treatments
• Mandarin classes
• A Growing Repertoire of Activities

What are we Looking for?

• Volunteers who can spare a few hours of their time on a weekly or monthly basis (our Dance Classes are always popular!)
• Board Members who are free to meet every couple of months for an hour or two to discuss and plan new ideas for the Association.
• Passionate, active community people who want to get involved with the Chinese Association and promote the brilliant opportunities and services that are available through us.
